Ինչպես և սպասվում էր, հանրահայտ հեռուստաաստղ Քիմ Քարդաշյանի այցը Հայաստան իրարանցում է առաջացրել ոչ միայն հետխորհրդային երկրում, այլև ողջ աշխարհում, գրում է The Daily Mail-ը:

Բրիտանական պարբերականը գրում է, որ Երևան ժամանելուց և երկրպագուների կողմից ջերմ ընդունելության արժանանալուց հետո, Քիմն ու նրա քույրը՝ Քլոեն, հինգշաբթի սկսել են այցելել տեսարժան վայրեր և լուսանկարվել տեղի զբոսայգիներից մեկում և հնագույն հուշարձանների մոտ, «սելֆիներ» արել տեղի երկրպագուների հետ, որոնք անկախ տարիքից՝ դուրս են եկել աստղերին դիմավորելու, իրենց հիացմունքը հայտնել սոցցանցերում, ինչպես նաև հանդիպում ունեցել ՀՀ վարչապետ Հովիկ Աբրահամյանի հետ, ինչի ընթացքում ներողություն են խնդրել հայերեն չխոսելու համար և խոստացել շարունակել Հայոց ցեղասպանության դատապարտման համար պայքարը:

The Daily Beast-ը գրում է, որ թեև Քիմ Քարդաշյանի պաշտոնական ներկայացուցիչը հայտարարել է, որ Հայաստան այցը կապ չունի Հայոց ցեղասպանության 100-ամյա տարելիցի հիշատակի պաշտոնական միջոցառումների հետ և որ աստղը պարզապես ցանկանում է ծանոթանալ իր հայկական արմատներին, ոչ ոք չի կարող ժխտել Քարդաշյանի ջանքերը Հայոց ցեղասպանության մասին իրազեկելու ուղղությամբ և որ նա իսկապես ցանկանում է, որ մարդիկ իմանան և հիշեն Հայոց ցեղասպանության մասին: Պարբերականը հիշեցնում է նախորդ տարիներին այս ուղղությամբ Քիմ Քարդաշյանի կատարած քայլերը և նշում, որ ՀՀ վարչապետ Հովիկ Աբրահամյանի հետ հանդիպման ժամանակ վերջինս շնորհակալություն է հայտնել նրան Ցեղասպանության միջազգային ճանաչման և դատապարտման գործում աջակցության համար:
