Yerevan Mayor Discusses Water System with World Bank

On October 15, Yerevan mayor Gagik Beglaryan and World Bank delegation headed by South Caucasus regional director Asad Alam discussed the water system and related issues.
As announced by Yerevan City Hall information and public affairs department, Beglaryan expects multilateral and productive cooperation in diverse political issues from World Bank delegates. The delegation leader agreed with Beglaryan and informed him that the World Bank is prepared to cooperate with the Armenian capital in a new way.
Alam suggested that Yerevan City Hall, as a concerned party, be involved in the World Bank discussions on Yerevan, thus mutually agreeing upon initiatives.
