NA acting spokesperson willing to work openly

The acting spokesperson for Armenia’s National Assembly, Hrayr Zoryan, has expressed willingness to work openly with the media.

Speaking to Tert.am, the former chief of the state-run news agency Armenpress dismissed the reports that he was appointed to his post in violation of the law.

After submitting his resignation notice, Zoryan announced that he was going to assume a new post.

The local media claimed that the National Assembly was obliged to declare a contest for appointing someone who was not a staff member.
Asked whether he knew exactly what job he was going to take, Zoryan refrained from making any comment.
