The representatives of Armenian and Azerbaijani intellectuals have finished their meeting in Moscow.

Speaking on the outcomes of the discussion, Mikhail Envoy, a special envoy on cultural cooperation issues, said the meeting was held in a positive atmosphere, but he did not reportedly give further details.

“We decided not to give information about the meeting. The embassies of the two countries will issue a statement. I can only say that it was decided to continue such meetings. The meeting between the intellectuals has not ended, the discussions will be continued in the evening,” the Azerbaijani news agency APA quoted him as saying.

The meeting was also attended by a former Russian ambassador to Armenia, Armen Smbatyan, and the Azerbaijani ambassador in Moscow, Polad Bulbuloglu.
