Yerkir: Republican appreciates PAP leader’s role in sports development

Despite the media reports that Prosperous Armenia leader will no longer be in charge of the Armenia’s National Olympic Committee, the paper has learned recently that he will remain in that position as the Republican Party appreciates his role in the development of sports.
Especially the top circles of the ruling party are willing to the see Gagik Tsarukyan as the head of the Committee, says the paper.
Citing its sources, it claims further that the new minister of sports and youth affairs is also likely to be a representative of the Prosperous Armenia party.
