Hraparak: Prosperous Armenia, Republican parties reached “iron” agreement

10:31 • 09.06.12

Citing its sources in Prosperous Armenia party (PAP), the paper claims there is an “iron” agreement between the Republican Party of Armenia and PAP.

According to it the PAP will put down the portfolios of ministers and governors, while the posts of deputy ministers, heads of departments will be retained until Gagik Tsarukyan and Hovik Abrahamyan keep their promise and back the incumbent president Serzh Sargsyan at the 2013 presidential elections.

The paper says Gagik Tsarukyan’s visit to Tokyo with president’s delegation, and meeting with Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan is agreed with it. The paper says it is not a novelty – the same happened with the Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaktsutyun (ARF-D) when it pulled out from the coalition: the ARF-D retained core portfolios in a number of spheres.
