Prosperous Armenia hopes law-enforcers honor constitution

The Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) hopes that Armenia’s law-enforcement will exclusively be guided by the Constitution in detecting crimes, without hunting for political or any other contexts, PAP Spokesman Tigran Urikhanyan told Tert.am.
Armenia’s ex-FM and founder of the Civilitas Foundation Vartan Oskanian made a statement on Monday that the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia had summoned him to offer testimony in relation to a criminal case regarding money laundering and illegally acquired funds.
“With respect to Mr Oskanian’s statement, I would like to note that we are going to keep track of the developments. If we notice any unlawful actions, we will immediately make a statement andf take necessary steps,” Urikhanyan said.
