Citing its sources, the daily Zhoghovurd writes some ruling circles have forced Gagik Tsarukyan to do everything to hinder Vartan Oskanian’s entrance to the parliament.

The paper says Tsarukyan discussed the issue with the ex-foreign minister, but the latter refused to implement the demand, saying he would pull out from the party raising international noise over his mandate. The paper says after Oskanian has become an MP criminal persecution started against him.

Ruling out the news, Tsarukyan’s spokesperson Iveta Tonoyan described it as nonsense, adding that no one can force Tsarukyan to do anything and speak with him in a language of conditions.

The fact though is, continues the daily, that the Prosperous Armenia party has appeared in a deadlock – on one hand it does not want to assist Oskanian, on the other, it cannot ignore the ongoing developments.
