The paper says it has learned from the Prosperous Armenia party (PAP) that their leader, Gagik Tsarukyan, is now in Belarus to arrange matters related to his brandy business.

But the party did not give any details about the scheduled opening of the brandy factory that endlessly “calls” the businessman politician to Belarus, says the paper.

“They said barrels of brandy will be transported from Armenia to Belarus for bottling and preservation purposes. They told us that it is Tsarukyan’s first and only business in Belarus. The question whether Tsarukyan had a permanent meeting with [second President] Robert Kocharyan remained unanswered. Tsarukyan is due in Armenia this week-end,” the paper comments.
