Citing recent statistics by the General Department of Civil Aviation, the paper says that around 69,000 passengers left Armenia permanently in the past months of 2012.

Comparing this year’s emigration records with the same period of 2011, the paper adds that the number of those people has grown by 5,000 or 8%. In January-April 2012, around 50,000 air passengers left Armenia forever, says the paper, adding that their number increased by around 19,000 only in May.

Official records on the emigrants who left the country by other transportation means is not available for now, but the number is likely to reach 100,000 , says the paper.
