The paper says it has learned from sources that the National Assembly has finally decided who is going to head Armenia’s delegations to the OSCE, Euranest and the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE).

The changes do not seem significant, with David Harutyunyan and Vahan Hovhannisyan remaining the heads of Euranest and PACE delegations, according to the paper.

As for the OSCE delegation, it will be headed by the chief of the National Unity Party, Artashes Geghamyan, the paper says, considering the move interesting from both domestic and foreign policy prospectives.

“It is noteworthy that Artashes Geghamyan is domestically an ardent opponent of [second President] Robert Kocharyan, but in the meantime he is also one of the biggest advocates of the Eurasian Union,” the paper comments.
