Zhoghovurd: Armenia’s new delegation to PACE already known

The paper says it has learned from “well-informed sources” that Armenia’s new delegates to the Council of Europe’s Parliamentary Assembly (PACE) have been already selected.
The permanent members, according to the paper, are David Harutyunyan of the ruling Republican Party faction in parliament, Naira Zohrabyan of the Prosperous Armenia party (PAP) faction, Levon Zurabyan of the opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC), and Mher Shahgeldyan of the Rule of Law party faction.
In addition, the delegation will also have substitutes, including Arpine Hovhannisyan, Naira Karapetyan (both from the Republican Party) and Vahe Hovhannisyan (PAP), claims the paper. The opposition Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaksutyun (ARF-D) and the Heritage party will be represented in the delegation in rotation, alternating each other every other year, says the paper, adding that Armen Roustamyan and Zaruhi Postanjyan will be the representatives of each party, respectively.
