Opposition’s disapproval of Government’s plan nothing new–Heritage rep.
10:42 • 25.06.12

Though Armenia’s fifth National Assembly has more lawmakers opposing to the Government’s plan, it does not make the debate conceptual, says Armen Martirosyan, former a member of the Heritage party faction in parliament.
Speaking to Tert.am, Martirosyan agreed that the executive’s program always met disapproval by opposition parties.
“It looks as though there’s something artificial … but there was disputation in both 2007 and 2008. The only [opposition] factions in 2007 were the Heritage and Rule of Law, but in 2008, we were already alone, only 6-7 MPs,” he said, adding that the disapproval of the Government’s action plan by four opposition factions was really impressive.
As for the content of the debate, Martirosyan said repeated that he sees nothing new about it.
