Armenian National Congress (ANC) opposition bloc has been convinced of its low rating with only seven mandates entrusted to it by the public, deputy leader of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Razmik Zohrabyan told the reporters today.

He said in spite of tough criticism, the ANC faction is not using “street jargon” in the National Assembly.

According to Zohrabyan, the opposition is to criticize, otherwise it would have been named pro-Republican. The RPA representative said he hopes constructive cooperation will be established not only with the ANC but other factions as well.

As to the government’s program, the number one issue of the NA’s extraordinary sitting, Zohrabyan said in general there are no good or bad government’s programs, the problem is in those who implements it. “We are the winning party and naturally we are the ones to present the program. It is a normal program. The important thing is its normal implementation,” he said.

The RPA deputy head voiced hope that the coming rally of the ANC will be in a way he imagines it – balanced, without personal offences, clashes.
