Member of the Armenian delegation to PACE Naira Zohrabyan addressed the PACE meeting today demanding international expertise for Azerbaijani text-books.

Noting that the mediating countries are permanently urging the parties to settle the Nagorno Karabakh conflict in an atmosphere of peace and tolerance, Naira Zohrabyan said, she cannot imagine how the generation brought up on these text-books may be tolerant toward Armenians.

“I do not imagine how a generation brought up on the Azerbaijani text-books may display tolerant attitude toward Armenians. The text-books present Armenians as assassins and slaughterers,” she said.
