Yerkir: Ruling political force prefers European countries for summer rest
10:53 • 30.06.12
With the holiday season drawing near, officials from different circles are thinking about their plans for summer rest.
Citing its sources, the paper says that the members of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) prefer the European countries as the best place for holiday.
The RPA top circles have grown to realize that it isn’t worth to travel to Turkey as that might be a black PR for the party, says the paper. Although the Republican has also recommended its coalition partner, the Rule of Law, against spending the summer in Turkey, the party’s leader, Arthur Baghdasaryan, appears to be powerless to do anything, the paper comments further. The Rule of Law members have reportedly complained that their leader can interfere with their plans for summer holiday.
