Lieutenant Colonel threatening to blow up Harsnaqar restaurant arrested

Lieutenant Colonel Vardan Samvelyan, who threatened to blow up Harsnaqar restaurant complex belonging to Ruben Hayrapetyan, has been arrested, RFE/RL reported citing senior officer of Defense Ministry Mary Sargsyan.
He has been arrested for arms possession, acquiring of explosives.
Mary Sargsyan said Samvelyan has already been interrogated and taken to jail.
Samvelyan went to Harsnaqar with explosives and threatened to blow it up after learning about the death of doctor Vahe Avetyan who was severely beaten in the restaurant by the security guards.
