“From Gutenberg to Internet: Unfinished Story for Libraries” international three-day conference will be conducted in Yerevan July 3-5 dedicated to contemporary issues of libraries.

According to the press release of “Girk” foundation, the conference is being organized within the framework of Yerevan’s declaration as World Capital of Book. The conference is the initiative of Ministry of Culture, National Library, American University of Armenia and Electronic Information to Libraries international consortium.

During the three day discussions the participants will refer to the mental property and copyright issues.

They will also refer to the packages of presentation of free code programs to the libraries which are being distributed for free. They are widely spread in American and European libraries.

The participants will get familiarized with the European and North-American experience in the library sphere and new achievements.
