Armenian parliamentary groups to address questions to law enforcement bodies over Harsnaqar case
13:55 • 10.07.12

Four Armenian parliamentary factions have decided to form a questionnaire and address it to the heads of law enforcement bodies, member of the Heritage faction Ruben Hakobyan told Tert.am, commenting on their future steps connected with Harsnaqar case.
NA Chairman Hovik Abrahamyan declined the proposal of the four parliamentary factions to meet with the policemen conducting a probe into the recent clashes outside the Harsnaqar restaurant.
“After getting the answers to the questions, the Heritage will initiate a forum of citizens to discuss the permissiveness in Armenia,” Ruben Hakobyan said.
He added that the four factions - Prosperous Armenia party (PAP), the opposition Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaksutyun (ARF-D), the opposition alliance Armenian National Congress (ANC) and the Heritage party – continue discussing the further steps.
In a statement to the parliamentary groups the NA chairman said he refrains from any intervention in the police operations while the inquest is under way.
