Haykakan Zhamanak: Armenian authorities negotiate with Russia over new loan

Citing its governmental sources the paper says the Armenian authorities have launched unofficial negotiations with the Russian government over providing a big loan to Armenia.
The source claims the sum may fluctuate from 800 million to one billion US dollars. The negotiations launched immediately after the 1.5 billion USD donation to Armenia within the framework of the EU failed.
The Armenian side is said to be ready to take the loan with rather high and at the same time fluctuating interest rate. It means the interest rate will depend on the situation in the international market.
The same source claims the Armenian side seeks to get at least part of the loan by the end of the year, agreed with the upcoming presidential elections.
