ANC to nominate candidate to challenge Armenia’s incumbent president

Levon Zurabyan, Coordinator of the opposition bloc Armenian National Congress (ANC), does not think of the possibility of Armenia’s opposition nominating a joint candidate in the 2013 presidential election.
Rather, the ANC is strongly for nominating a joint candidate, Zurabyan told journalists on Thursday.
“It must be a person able to issue a challenge to incumbent President Serzh Sargsyan. It must be a really powerful political figure, whose honesty and determination will never be doubted by society. It must be a person that would unite political forces and leaders around himself,” Zurabyan said.
“Who is that person is a puzzle for you to solve,” he added.
