Golden Apricot International Film Festival winners known

The results of Golden Apricot Yerevan 9th international film festival have been summed up with winners announced by the Board of Jury at the closing ceremony of the festival.
Best Feature Film is In the Fog, directed by Sergei Loznitsa, Germany/Russia/Latvia/ the Netherlands.
'Silver Apricot'' - Special Prize for Feature Film has been given to It Looks Pretty from a Distance, directed by Anka Sasnal and Wilhelm Sasnal, Poland.
Five Broken Cameras, directed by Emad Burnat, Palestine has become the best documentary film. Special Prize- Silver Apricot has been awarded to The Tundra Book. A Tale of Vukvukai, The Little Rock, directed by Aleksei Vakhrushev, Russia. Bakhmaro, directed by Salome Jashi, Germany/Georgia was Jury Special Mention.
If only Everyone, directed by Natalia Belauskene, Armenia, has been recognized Best Armenian Fiction Film.
Special Prize – Silver Apricot has been awarded to Nana, directed by Valerie Massadian, France.
Best Armenian Documentary became Armenian Rhapsody, directed by Cassiana Der Haroutiounian, Cesar Gananian, Gary Gananian, Brazil.
Apricot Stone Competition’s Best Film was When We Die at Night, directed by Eduardo Moroto, Brazil and the Jury Special Mention was Insignificant Details of the Accidental Episode, directed by Mikhail Mestetsky, Russia.
FIPRESCI Award was given to The First Rains of Spring, directed by Yerlan Nurmukhambetov and Sano Shinju, Kazakhstan/Japan.
The Ecumenical Jury Award was handed to If Only Everyone, directed by Natalya Belyauskene, Armenia.
The Ecumenical Jury Commendation was given to Future Lasts Forever, directed by Özcan Alper, Turkey.
Armenian National Film Academy Award was given to Grandma’s Tattoos, directed by Suzanne Khardalian, Sweden.
British Council Award was handed to Armenian Rhapsody, directed by Cassiana Der Haroutiounian, Cesar Gananian, Gary Gananian, Brazil.
Armenian Filmmakers Union Award was handed to With Fidel Whatever Happens, directed by Goran Radovanovic, Serbia.
Bad Father, directed by Tigrane Avedikian, France, received Hrant Matevosyan Award.
The Festival honorable guest, world famous director Agnieszhka Holland was granted Parajanov's Thaler Award of Golden Apricot at the ceremony.
