Head of the Kars region’s Culture and Art Union Vedat Akcayoz says to present Ani ruins to the tourists in an interesting way it will be good to use One thousand and one nights fairy tales, Haberler reports.

He said till 1994 Ani ruins were “forbidden military zone of first degree” while now they are of great significance for Turkey and Kars in particular.” “Bringing forth the site’s mystical sides we may better present the history to the whole world. Ani’s ruins were symbols of many cultures and religions,” he said.

Akcayoz said for understanding Anatolia it is necessary to study the culture left by the people who passed through Kars plateau. This culture was of great significance for the development of the region.
