Zhoghovurd: Population in Karabakh decreases

The paper says the population in the Nagorno Karabakh Republic is gradually decreasing with people in Stepanakert complaining of the population flow while they claim after the ceasefire treaty the then authorities were re-settling Karabakh and the liberated lands.
“There still was a hope during Ghukasyan’s presidency though he was not doing anything, but people were free while now the country has turned into a big colony. We were freer during the war time, than we are now,” the paper cited one of the residents.
The people were also complaining of lack of conditions for development of business, the paper writes.
