An equine artist, known as Justin, was introduced to painting by his owner who noticed he liked scrawling shapes in the sand with her whip, The Telegraph reported.
Justin, a nine-year-old Fresian, has produced a series of paintings which have been shown in art galleries and even sold for hundreds of dollars.
Adonna Combs, who bought Justin seven years ago, first spotted the horse's talent when he used her whip to draw patterns in the sand.
Combs then swapped the whip for a paint brush.
"I thought it might be a good release for him," she said.
Justin's paintings have been sold to art collectors, including Susan Egbert who hangs some of the paintings in her home.
