Passenger killed in Waltswagen crash on southern highway

A Waltswagen vehicle turned upside down on the Yerevan-Meghri highway on Sunday evening, leaving one person dead.
Photo reporter Gagik Shamshyan told Tert.am from the scene that the accident occurred after the car lost track on the 72nd kilometer of the highway (Ararat region).
The driver of the car, which carried three young female passengers, was Siranush Ter-Tadevosyan, a resident of the northern city of Jermuk. The driver and two passengers have been hospitalized with injuries.
The police are now identifying the deceased and the injured.
Shamshyan says different passers-by gave the survivors first aid to after the crash.
