Crowd to gather for candlelight vigil to commemorate doctor

As July the 23rd marks the fortieth day since the death of Vahe Avetyan, the military doctor beaten severely by the security guards of Harsnaqar restaurant, a crowd of people will hold a candlelight vigil outside the building later on Monday to commemorate him.
The ceremony will be followed by a protest march in Yerevan’s Avan district (where the restaurant is situated), says a statement by the public initiative demanding a fair prosecution against the perpetrators of the deadly incident.
The group calls upon the public to attend the event to pay respect to the deceased doctor and demand liability against the culprits.
