Childeren born at home in natural conditions are often likely to display the character of a potential leader, a specialist has said.

Artur Poghosyan, a child and adolescent psychiatrist, told a news conference on Wednesday that homeborn babies do not normally suffer from birth traumas, and are quiet-natured and non-aggressive.

“A human being’s life begins with childbirth. The way a baby is born marks the continuation of its life. What happens to a child after birth predetermines his or her future behavior and character,” he said.

According to the doctor, a child’s birth in hospital distorts, in a certain way, the sacred aspect of the phenomenon, imparting a demonstrative nature to the process. He said the position of a woman confined in hospital is against gravitation forces as it narrows the childbirth channel by 30 degrees.

As for home deliveries, Poghosyan said they should not involve a medical intervention as that causes complications in 10% of cases.

“Of course, every family pursues its own moral norms. That may be a normal and natural phenomenon for one family, and an unacceptable and stressful one for another,” he noted.

The doctor said at the end that it is each person’s duty to closer to, and aware of, his or her natural impulses and instincts, and the changes caused by social developments.
