Yerevan mayor Taron Margaryan received on Monday representatives of the Asian Development Bank and discussed Sustainable urban development program.
Press service of the Yerevan City Hall reported that the program relates to the construction of two roads in Yerevan to improve capital’s transport system.
Taron Margaryan reported about structural changes in the program implementation agency to improve the program’s management quality.
The mayor has stressed that the program is of priority for the capital’s authorities, voicing readiness for continuative cooperation with the ADB.
ADB Urban Development and Water Division Central and West Asia Department director Anand Chiplunkar said the municipality and bank’s task groups are working intensively over the program.
“We are doing everything to launch the program implementation as soon as possible,” Chiplunkar said.
