Armenian civil group demands oppositionists’ release

A civil initiative demanding the release of the jailed members opposition members is planning a piquet outside the Presidential Office on Wednesday evening
The members of the group particularly call for:
1. Acquitting the four activists of the opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC), Artak Karapetyan, David Kiramijyan, Tigran
Arakelyan and Sargis Gevorgyan;
2. Releasing Tigran Araelyan;
3. Dismissing the criminal proceeding against the other ANC young members, Vahagn Gevorgyan, Sahak Muradyan and Areg Gevorgyan;
4. Establish accountability measures against the policemen and lawyers who subjected them to violence;
5. Impose liability upon the police officers who gave false testimony.
