Armenian female weightlifter to compete in London Olympics today

Armenian weightlifter Meline Daluzyan will compete in the 2012 London Olympics in the 69kg. weight class later today.
The double champion will try to bring the first medal to Armenia. The competitions are going to be very tough as there are many medal contenders representing this weight class. Russia’s Oksana Slivenko, who is well-known weightlifter in the same weigh class, will miss the competition because of a trauma.
Daluzyan suffered a failure in the 2012 World Cup, receiving zero points, but the Gyumri-based sportswoman demonstrateդ big success in the past.
