Hraparak: Parliament reshuffling due in autumn
08:40 • 03.08.12

The paper says it has learned from sources that the legislative is to see a new reshuffle in autumn.
President of the National Assembly Hovik Abrahamyan is reportedly going to appoint Arpine Hovhannisyan of the ruling Republican Party as the head of staff. The paper says that Hovhannisyan, who was elected in a single-member constituency, was Abrahamyan’s advisor on legal affairs before becoming a parliament member. Citing its sources, the paper claims that the incumbent speaker is seriously preparing Hovhannisyan for her new post. He has reportedly asked Hamik Mkrtchyan, a manager at the National Assembly, to introduce her to the current state of affairs.
The paper further reminds the reader that Vrezh Gasparyan is now the chief of the parliament’s staff.
