Armenia’s Consulate General to Aleppo moves to safer district

The Armenian Consulate General in Aleppo has temporarily moved to a new district closer to Armenian populated areas.
A spokesperson of Armenia’s Foreign Ministry, Tigran Balayan, has told the Armenpress News agency that the decision was made to make consulate service safer and more efficient
“I confirm the report. The Armenian Consulate General in Aleppo has moved to district,” he was quoted as saying.
The clashes between the government forces and the opposition have been going on in the Syrian capital for several days. According to the United Nations, the military operations over the past 1.5 have claimed over 20,000 in the country.
