Street fighting in Armenian quarters in Aleppo

Syrian government troops are carrying out large-scale operations against the opposition militants in Aleppo.

Armenian community representatives informed Tert.am that street fighting is going on not far from the Armenian quarters.

During the night the insurgents tried to occupy some government buildings there.

Government troops are in control of the situation in the Armenian quarters. Military аircraft is striking the opposition.
Surb Gevorg church in Aleppo is not closed now.
