Syrian government urges Armenians to stay at home

Armenians living in Aleppo have released a statement on Aleppo News Network Facebook page where the Syria’s government was urging the residents of Armenian-populated district to stay in their houses and not yield to suspicious evacuation offers.
The statement released in Arab language says, “Extremely urgent announcement, particularly for the residents of Al-Jala district. There are evacuation offers. We urge the residents not to yield to such thoughts and stay inside their houses for safety reasons.
We urge them to be oriented not with news web sites but only official sources.” The statement said some time ago air strikes were registered in the territory of the district.
