Armenia’s parliamentary groups to be represented in local election committees

All the faction of Armenia’s parliament will be represented in election committees during the forthcoming local elections.
At its special sitting Armenia’s Central Electoral Commission (CEC) decided that the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) is to have 376 chairmen and as many secretaries of election committees. The Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) will have 246 chairmen of election committees and as many secretaries.
Members of the opposition bloc Armenian National Congress (ANC) will chair 66 election committees. The Rule of Law party, Heritage party and Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaktsutyun (ARF-D) will each have chairmen of 47 election committees and as many secretaries.
Local elections are to be held in Ararat, Lori, Shirak, Syunik, on September 9.
