Haykakan Zhamanak: Deputy sport and youth affairs minister - highest official to meet Armenian Olympic delegation

Armenian Olympic delegation arrived back to Armenia on August 14 late in the evening.
The paper reminds that Armenia brought one silver and two bronze medals from London Olympics. The paper says the head of the delegation though, Gagik Tsarukyan, has not returned back to Yerevan.
The paper says it is quite remarkable as usually the athletes returning from important sport events with medals are being met or accompanied by the chairman of Armenia’s Olympic Committee.
This time instead of Gagik Tsarukyan, the ceremony was held by deputy sport and youth affairs minister Khachik Asryan, who the paper says, was the highest official to meet the Armenian athletes.
