Diana Sirunyan, the daughter of the chief bodyguard of Armenia’s ex-Interior Minister Vano Siradeghyan, continues to remain in hospital in a critical condition, official reports suggest.
Speaking to Tert.am, a spokesperson for the Ministry of Healthcare, Anahit Haytayan, said a computer tomography earlier today has found no positive changes.
“Diana was admitted to hospital in an extremely serious condition. She was immediately put on artificial breathing and underwent a computerized adbdomen checkup and brain and chest tomography,” she said, adding that the Diana has been diagnosed with a double-sided pneumothorax and pulmonary contusion.
Diana, 16, committed a suicide attempt by throwing herself from the fifth floor on Saturday after hearing of her father, the 41-year-old Suren Sirunyan’s sudden death.
According to the Ministry, eye-surgeon Anatoly Gnuni has been invited to examine the girl later today.
