Nobel Prize winners to deliver lectures in Yerevan

Winners of Nobel Prize in natural sciences are going to deliver lectures in Yerevan as part of public lecture series launched by the Armenian Youth Foundation and the Union of Young Biologists.
According to a press release by the Foundation, the program, which will last from November 2 to 6, includes lectures by such renowned scholars as Tim Hunt (physiology and medicine) and a Martin Chalfin (chemistry).
Both scholars’ activities relate to cancer, a disease that has become a major threat to humanity.
The lectures are designed for young scholars and students specializing in biomedicine, molecular biology and related disciplines,” reads the statement.
