Armenian president received outgoing Lithuanian ambassador

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan held a meeting with outgoing Lithuanian Ambassador to Armenia Giedrius Apuokas.

The Armenia leader stressed the ambassador’s role in intensified Armenian-Lithuanian dialogue and higher-level bilateral cooperation.

President Serzh Sargsyan expressed gratitude to Mr Giedrius Apuokas and expressed hope that his successor will contribute to further progress.

The sides commended Lithuanian companies’ interest in economic programs in Armenia. They noted that intensifying economic cooperation promotes bilateral cultural cooperation.

The Armenian president expressed his appreciation of Lithuania’s assistance in Armenia’s European integration and sharing its experience in cooperating with European agencies.

The sides stressed the development of bilateral cooperation under the EU Eastern Partnership project.
