Preparliament opens meeting in Armenia’s capital

21:03 • 31.05.13

The Preparliament of Armenia has opened a meeting in Yerevan’s Freedom Square.

The meeting will discuss ways of overthrowing the colonial regime in Armenia and of building a country of new quality.

Implied death threats are being issued against Preparliament and Sardarapat movement members, reserved Colonel Varuzhan Avetisyan said at the meeting.

“Such threats were issued against Zhirair Sefilyan. Unknown people visited Garegin Chukaszyan’s neighbors and introduced themselves as social workers. Their behavior was suspicious and they asked questions,” Avetisyan said.

No threats or pressure will make them give in. “”We will liberate our country together,” Avetisyan said.
