Hostage-paramedics supplied with food, medicines – official

The three paramedics that have for the third day been held hostages by the armed group that attacked a police building in Yerevan on July 17 have been supplied with food and medicines, Taguhi Stepanyan, Head of the Ambulance CJSC, told Tert.am.

In response to Tert.am’s question, Ms Stepanyan said:

“We have supplied food to our doctors, but the armed group do not want to accept our food. We have also supplied medicines.”

One of the paramedics felt bad and was released yesterday.

One of the armed group members, who has a gunshot wound, needs surgery, Ms Stepanyan said.
