Armenia’s premier resigns

At a cabinet meeting on Thursday, Armenia’s Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan announced his resignation.

“Sincere and realistic approaches have produced results, but society remains polarized. Society and the government need joint efforts. So there is a need for a new start, and we should think of our common success and give a chance to a new cabinet,” Mr Abrahamyan said.
