President Armen Sarkissian accepts cabinet’s resignation from prime minister

President Armen Sarkissian met with Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan after his inauguration ceremony on Monday to accept the cabinet’s resignation.

His personal aide, Hasmik Petrosyan, confirmed the report in comments to our correspondent.

Under the amended Constitution, the new cabinet is to be formed within seven days after the presidential inauguration (until April 16).
