Armenian soldier reported killed in Syria

An ethnic Armenian soldier has been killed in Syria amid the continuing clashes between the government forces and the opposition, the Western-Armenian news website Yerakouyn.com reported.
Vrezh Keshishyan, 22, was shot dead in the northwestern province of Ildib where he was performing his army service.
Syria’s economic capital, Aleppo, is facing isolation, with mobile telecommunication and internet being cut and the landline telephones operating at intervals.
Tert.am’s sources in Aleppo say the tensions in the city continue, with noises and mines or bullets often reaching the Armenian districts.
The city keeps facing a shortage of bread and fuel. Prices on goods are said to be extremely high as joblessness continues.
