President Armen Sarkissian signs decree to appoint new high-tech minister

President Armen Sarkissian has signed a decree to appoint the former regional governor of Tavush as the minister of high-tech industry.
“Based on the prime minister’s proposal pursuant to Article 131 of the Constitution, as well as Section 1, Article 5 of the law ‘On the Structure and Activity of the Government’, to appoint Hayk Chobanyan as the minister of high-tech industry.”
The former minister, Hakob Arshakyan, announced his resignation on Wednesday (March 31).
