Barev Yerevan alliance representative on upcoming elections

Alen Simonyan, number 12 in Barev Yerevan alliance’s City Council election list, does not think that Yerevan City Council elections will be program elections.

“These are political elections and the voter will give the votes to preferred political force. In general even during NA or presidential elections it is senseless to discuss program provisions as there is a crisis policy in our country,” he said.

The candidate said he does not see an active election campaign as well. “The campaign has launched and passes rather weak,” he stressed.

Simonyan said the number one event is the process that started after April 9. He said people are not disappointed after it.

He said Barev Yerevan alliance will get not less than 40% of votes.
