Armenia ready to settle relations with Hungary
Armenia is always ready to settle relations with Hungary if the latter undertakes necessary steps in that direction, Armenia’s acting Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian said at a joint news conference with the Council of Europe Secretary General Thorbjørn Jagland.
“Armenia is always ready to normalize relations with Hungary but Budapest should undertake steps,” Nalbandian said.
The diplomatic relations between Armenia and Hungary have been suspended since August 2012 after Hungary extradited Azerbaijani murderer of Armenian officer Gurgen Margaryan, Ramil Safaraov to Azerbaijan where he was immediately pardoned and glorified.
