Chorrord Inqnishkhanutyun: Armenian ex-premier expanding sphere of influence
Ex-Prime Minister Armen Sargsyan, who was formerly Armenia’s ambassador to the United Kingdom, does not seem to be losing time for expanding his influence in the country, the paper says, citing reports.
Sources have reportedly told the paper that he has recently acquired a large package of the Pepsi Cola’s shares, together with the right to manage the company in the South Caucasus region.
The Pepsi Cola sale is now concentrated in the hands of Ashot Arsenyan, a former parliament member and the president of Jermuk Group, the paper says, adding that the former premier is now expected to become an owner of that company as well.
