Russian Embassy condemns murder in Armenia’s Gyumri

The Russian Embassy to Armenia has issued a statement condemning today’s multiple murder in Armenia’s second largest city.

It has expressed its sorrow over the deadly incident, extending its condolences to the family and closed people of the deceased.

“Those who committed the horrific crime must be punished in the  strictest way. The competent bodies of the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation are now carrying out the necessary criminal procedures to ensure an unbiased and comprehensive probe.

“The investigative groups are coordinating their efforts in full compliance with the terms of the 102nd military base’s presence in the republic,” reads the statement.
